VOACAP Online 11M Point-to-point predictions: How to use this service
The circular chart above shows predictions for the frequency range of 26-28 MHz. Hover the mouse over the chart for details. For predictions with more frequency coverage, click the "Run prediction!" button.
  • VOACAP Online knows the monthly SSN values. Therefore DO NOT set any value for SSN, unless you want to experiment. After you have entered a value in any of the fields, press the TAB key instead of ENTER.
  • If in doubt, read the User Manual and about new features.
  • Transmitter Site (TX) = Your Station (red) and Receiver Site (RX) = DX Station (blue). Drag the markers on the map to the desired locations. Double-click the markers to swap TX and RX.
  • The red circle along the short-path/long-path great-circle line shows the half-way point between the Transmitter site and the Receiver site.
  • The red line between the markers shows the great-cirle path (short-path). You can also choose long-path. Zoom the map in/out with the mouse wheel.
  • Choose the year & month, TX and RX antennas and TX power.
